Tim Miles is as twitter savvy as any coach you’ll come across.

He tweets out updates at halftime of his games. He’ll take the time out to chat with fans when he’s not taking selfies during court storms. He even recorded a video to help a Nebraska fan propose to his girlfriend.

And now?

Miles is meeting up with fans that ask him to lunch.

“@conlars24: @CoachMiles thanks for meetin with us coach!! pic.twitter.com/esrqpp2OLY” had a great time boys thanks

He’s still Tim Miles, though, so it’s not like you can get him to show up the first time you ask:

@CoachMiles runnin the half marathon this Sunday in Lincoln. Reward hard work!! By comin to canes with @goinHARDINhere #usalways

— Connor Larson (@conlars24) April 30, 2014

@CoachMiles @conlars24 Canes for lunch or supper today?

— Ethan Hardin (@goinHARDINhere) May 1, 2014

@CoachMiles just drove across state to Lincoln. Crossin my fingers that my risk pays off tonight and we go to canes

— Connor Larson (@conlars24) May 2, 2014

@CoachMiles @conlars24 Canes needs to happen tonight or tmrw for lunch or supper. Come on coach, don’t be the first to turn down free canes.

— Ethan Hardin (@goinHARDINhere) May 4, 2014

I guess all he needed to hear was “free":

@goinHARDINhere @conlars24 gotta be lunch tmrw

Be careful what you start agreeing to on twitter, Coach, because the requests will start to get weirder:

@danpatford .... You seem like a good dude. But I think I’m booked that day
