Kentucky held their Blue-White scrimmage on Tuesday night at Rupp Arena, and while there was plenty for UK fans to get excited about -- dunks galore, James young’s 26 points, the play of Derek Willis -- there was once major concern: point guard Andrew Harrison didn’t play in the second half due to a right knee injury he suffered in practice.
It’s apparently a knee contusion that has been bothering him for a couple of days. He suffered the injury in practice and decided at the half that it wasn’t worth it to push himself for a scrimmage.
In other words, UK’s most indispensable player is not seriously injured.
And that may be the best news to come out of Lexington on Tuesday night.
