Nebraska to their 2014 recruiting class over the week as the Huskers landed a commitment from 6-foot-8 forward Keanu Pinder.
Pinder played for Australia’s U19 team this summer, but he plays his high school ball at Sunrise Christian Academy, the same school that sent Lourawls Nairn to Michigan State.
One of the key figures in Pinder’s recruiting was Nebraska assistant Chris Harriman, who is a native of Sydney. He spent four years at St. Louis prior to joining Tim Miles’ staff and helped the Billikens land Cody Ellis and Christian Salecich from Australia and Rob Loe from New Zealand.
Nebraska has already added Tai Webster to this season’s roster. Webster is a freshman that hails from New Zealand as well.
Pinder joins three-star center Jacob Hammond in Nebraska’s 2014 class.
