Virginia Tech picked up a commitment from guard Jalen Hudson on Friday night as the Ohio native announced his decision on Twitter to join the Hokies’ 2014 class.
The 6'5" Hudson comes from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio -- you might know their most famous alum as the best basketball player in the world, LeBron James -- and is regarded as a three-star prospect according to Rivals.
Virginia Tech head coach James Johnson has made perimeter threats a priority in the 2014 class and Hudson picked the Hokies over strong interest from Arkansas.
