Providence forward LaDontae Henton and his ex-girlfriend, Kristin Smith, were both arrested after a confrontation in his dorm room turned violent, according to a report from the Providence Journal.

Henton is accused of throwing Smith to the floor and smashing her cell phone. Smith is accused of smashing Henton’s TV. Henton is being charged with domestic simple assault and vandalism.

As a sophomore, the 6-foot-6 Flint native averaged 13.0 points and 8.0 boards. His presence is a big reason that many are expecting the Friars to make noise in the new Big East next season.
