Fresno State’s star recruit Robert Upshaw, a former Kansas State signee and a top 50 talent in the Class of 2012, will miss another 2-4 weeks has be battles a lower leg injury, according to CBSSports.com.
Upshaw injured the leg last month and may not be ready to return until December, which would be a big blow to an already-thin Bulldog lineup. Braeden Anderson, a former Kansas signee that wasn’t academically eligible last season, is still waiting on a ruling from the NCAA while Kevin Olekaibe has a banged up elbow, but should be ready to play come gameday.
The good news?
Fresno State has talent on their roster this year, but their most promising players are youngsters; they are probably still a year away from peaking, when Oklahoma State transfer Cezar Guerrero becomes eligible.
These injuries are nothing more than a minor setback in a long, drawn out course of action.
