The embattled Texas Tech head coach is using accrued sick days in order to take a leave of absence, all while his top returning scorer explained that he will not return if the head coach does. This all comes just a couple of hours after a group of BCG supporters started to surface. I did not know there were people who actually supported BCG, but apparently, former-Kentucky star Josh “Jorts” Harrellson was one of them, kinda

- According to Sport Illustrated’s Luke Winn, several Harvard student-athletes, including star forward Kyle Casey, are involved in a school-wide cheating scandal. Casey will leave the school, but may be eligible to get reinstated

- Now this is something we don’t see every day: Both Tobacco Road powerhouses are engulfed in ugly scandals

- Speaking of Duke, If the NCAA want’s to investigate Lance Thomas and the university, they better get a move-on

- The first sentence in Andy Katz’s article about the young but confident Georgetown Hoyas squad says it all

- UConn’s Shabazz Napier, the team;s leading returning scorer, had surgery to fix a stress fracture in his foot but should be ready to go come season tip-off
