The Big Strick Classic, formerly known as the Franchise Classic, tips off Saturday at 6 p.m. at City College in New York City.
The rosters are stacked, rivaling other premiere events like the Elite 24, which is slated to take place later this month in Venice Beach, Calif.
Leading the field is 2014 Andrew Wiggins, the talk of the summer circuit and perhaps the best high school player in the country, along with Andrew and Aaron Harrison, the stellar backcourt combo package from Texas that is still looking for a college team.
Speaking of package deals, it has been rumored that Boo Williams (Va.) AAU teammates Troy Williams and Anthony Barber could be a package deal wherever they end up. Barber, a quick point guard, and Williams, a solid swingman, are still looking for suitors.
Chris McCullough is another to keep an eye on. After breaking out last summer, the 2014 forward is in the Top 20 in the country, an ultra-athletic swingman who excels in transition.
