Terrence Jones gives flowers to Louisville cheerleader he ran over

During Kentucky’s Final Four game against Louisville, Terrence Jones went flying out of bounds on one possession trying to track down an errant pass from Anthony Davis on a fast break.

He wasn’t able to, but he did crash into one of Louisville’s cheerleaders, Jerica Logue. See the video here:

The collision left Logue bloodied, bruised and in tears, but in typical Cardinal fashion, she got herself stitched up and made it back for the second half.

After the game, Jones said in the press conference that he had no idea he had injured the girl. “Tell her I’m sorry,” he said. “I’ll drive down there and tell her myself with some flowers or something.”

Well, Jones lived up to his word. On Monday evening, he met up with Logue at a cheerleading practice and delivered her the flowers, as documented by Maggie Ruper, a reporter for WHAS-11:
